Mental Health Counseling Financial Aid

In addition to university-based financial aid programs, special graduate assistantship and loan forgiveness programs are available for students in the School Psychology program.

Assistantships:

A variety of graduate assistantships are available to students in School Psychology. After being admitted to the degree program, students contact Dr. Michael Railey in order to learn about procedures for acquiring an assistantship. First year students are discouraged from taking on a strenuous work schedule, as the course load during this first year is considered challenging. Significantly more assistantships are available for 2nd year students. Faculty members often also have assistantships to offer that are funded by their individually-obtained research grants.

Scholarships:

Other scholarship programs are available through the University’s Graduate School and the College of Education http://www.coe.fsu.edu/finaid.
