Masters in Educational Psychology with a Major in Sport Psychology

The Master’s degree program in Educational Psychology with a major in Sport Psychology is designed for graduate students who wish to study in the area of sport behavior, acquire basic counseling skills that may be applied to enhance sport skill performance, and assist athletes to resolve sport related problems. Master’s students also have the opportunity to conduct practical work with athletes while receiving supervision to eventually qualify them for AASP certification. To this end, students enroll in a program of studies comprising a minimum of 37 credits, including a thesis and its oral defense OR a comprehensive exam for the coursework-only masters option.
