Educational Psychology Master's Program Major Advisor and Supervisory Committee Upon being admitted to the program, students are assigned a temporary major advisor. The advisor assists students in selecting courses and planning their programs of study (see below) for the first year of study. The supervisory committee for the thesis master's candidate consists of at three (3) members: two of the professors must be from the student's program, and one (1) additional member from the major department. All committee members must hold at least master's directive status. Thesis Prospectus and Thesis While conforming to university guidelines regarding structure, the thesis must be written in the APA convention style. Only directly relevant arguments, information, and references are included. Obtain a copy of Guidelines and Requirements for Thesis, Treatise, and Dissertation Writers from the Office of Graduate Studies, 408 Wescott, (850) 644-3500. Be sure to contact the Graduate Coordinator for the College of Education in the Office of Academic Services, 108 Stone Building, for important deadlines.
