Clinic Services
The Adult Learning Evaluation Center is a not-for-profit assessment clinic under the administration of the Department of Educational Psychology and Learning Systems at Florida State University. The clinic staff consists of faculty members in the Department of Educational Psychology and Learning Systems, licensed psychologists, a clinical director, and graduate students in the specialties of school, counseling, rehabilitation, and clinical psychology. The Center is open 8:00-5:00 on Monday through Friday. It is closed during certain holidays, and generally when FSU is also closed.
Psycho-educational Evaluations:
To determine the presence of a learning disability and provide appropriate recommendations.
ADHD Evaluations:
To determine the presence of inattention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that may be adversely affecting academic, occupational, or social functioning.
Anxiety Reduction Workshop:
Group and individual training for individuals with test anxiety.
ADHD Coaching:
One-on One coaching for individuals with ADHD or ADHD-like symptoms.
Study Skills Workshop:
An 8-week workshop that focuses on topics such as test preparation, motivation, and time management. Open to all college students.
